Link of the Day: Have a love of quirky T-shirts and way too much money to know what to do with? Then perhaps Shirt.Woot is the right website for you. Featuring shirts from literally hundreds of different artists, Shirt.Woot chooses a new T-shirt to offer every day, many from scheduled "Derbies" where the general shirt-purchasing audience can vote on and select the next shirt to be sold. The only caveat is that only the 20 top-selling shirts during any given week will "survive" until the next week, so be sure to snatch up your favorite shirt quickly!

September 2008: Wrex

Name: Urdnot Wrex

Age: ~400

Gender: Male

Species: Krogan

Origin: Tuchanka

Personality: Stoic

Likes: Combat, biotics

Dislikes: Salarians, turians, geth, C-Sec

Annoying Factor: 1/10

Games Appeared In: Mass Effect

Debut: Mass Effect

Urdnot Wrex is a krogan battlemaster, one of the select few who have the ability to combine weapon specialization with biotic abilities. Exceedingly skilled, Wrex soon gained fame for his competence and became the youngest Urdnot leader in millenia. Wrex soon realized, however, that the genophage created by the salarians to interfere with krogan reproduction had caused his race to degenerate to violent, senseless fighters. After an ill-fated encounter with his father, who betrayed his word to Wrex and tried to kill him, Wrex turned his back on his people and became a mercenary. A few centuries later, he would cross paths with Commander Shepard on his quest to stop the rogue Spectre Saren (with whom Wrex had unpleasant business in the past). Wrex's heroic actions henceforth would be remembered by the galaxy for years to come.

Comments: Very small update, but I wasn't happy with not having any substantial update for four months. >.< Added some more information to the "Decks" portion of "Features", and added some links to recordings in the "Sheet Music" section (for Lonely Rolling Star and Butter Building, in particular). Oh, and updated the Link.

Date: 4/1/09
Comments: Added an intricate puzzle to my website...start at the bottom of this page and see if you can find the hidden link to the next page. Rinse and repeat for the page after that, and so forth. Also added two new (well, not all of them) arrangements ("Balrog", "Butter Building" and a keyboard arrangement of "Overworld") and links to YouTube recordings of two songs ("Overworld" and "Dream Land") to the "Sheet Music" section, and added two new compositions to my "MIDI" section (assignments for theory class, but I think they turned out well enough). Finally, one more decklist is up in the "Decks" section under features. And that wraps up this update! Good luck with the puzzle, and happy April Fools' Day!

Comments: As expected, I have virtually no time to do anything that might contribute this site now that school's up and in full swing. I did, however, attend the Shards of Alara prerelease last weekend, and have put up my decklist under the "Features" section. Also arranged a new tune for keyboard trio; the very recognizable Super Mario World overworld theme. Until next time...

Comments: School's finally started, which means my free time will be precious little. That said, I decided to do one last (at least for a while) update before school gets into full swing. I added some sheet music of an arrangement of "Lonely Rolling Star" (from Katamari Damacy) I made over the summer, put up another piece of fanfiction (a Mass Effect piece, as promised), and updated the front page's "Link of the Day" and "Profile of the Month".

Date: 8/7/08
Comments: Figured that I'd update this website as much as I could before school started up again in a few weeks. Added the Profile of the Month for August, the lovely Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande of Neverwinter Nights. Also added another fan fiction piece, "Eye of the Storm" (again, a Neverwinter Nights piece). I've finally finished up Mass Effect, so expect such content to grace the pages of my website before long...

Comments: Another small update. Changed the "Magic Prerelease Decklists" section to reflect the event this past weekend, and added another Profile of the Month (because I felt like it), Beat from Jet Set Radio.

Comments: Very small update. Figured that it's been too long trying to stay anonymous in the Internet world (ha, like I get that much traffic anyway), so added a brief biography of myself in the "About" section. It can be accessed by clicking on the Torch icon in the middle of the main page.

Comments: One of my largest updates to this website, well, ever. That "Games" section that's been sitting around since I first conceived this site, pretty much bare and empty? Well, it's got a soul now, as well as *actual downloadable games* (let me repeat: ACTUAL DOWNLOADABLE GAMES) that I've created. The "Games" site now links to the individual sites for Superball, Invaders, Sonic Championship, Soul Calibur and Superball II, three of which have downloadable content. Enjoy!

Date: 6/17/08
Comments: "Music" section has been successfully "revamped"! The "Music" section is now split into two additional sections, "Sound Files" and "Sheet Music." "Sound Files" still contains all the MIDIs you know (and love?) from the old "Music" section, while "Sheet Music" contains some PDFs of Finale files that I finally took the effort to convert. Enjoy, and comments appreciated!

Comments: Well, I haven't yet "revamped my music section," but I've done a major update to the site in the form of relocating all the pages over to a new server, http://fireteam-torch.net78.net/. I'm still working on it, so there are a few pages (namely the "Games" and "Music" pages) that still need to be ironed out. Expect those updates in the next few weeks. Oh, and as for what's actually new? Check out another fanfic in the "Fiction" section starring Xiuying of Shenmue II fame. Enjoy.
